Why buy a pellet grill?
Pellet grills are different from any other grill you’ve ever tried. They have superior flavor, and they’re far simpler to use than a charcoal grill.
Why? You set a temperature and then don’t have to babysit it. The digital controllers ensure your food cooks at the temperature you desire.
No joke. The Z Grill has an automatic pellet feeder that adds just the right amount of fuel to the grill to keep it at the temperature you want. Plus, it avoids flare ups that can char your food or present a danger.
That also means you don’t have to open the grill to add more fuel and lose heat, so your food cooks more consistently and evenly. Less work and a better process; you know I’m all over it.
While you may not have the familiarity with the Z Grills brand that you do with charcoal or gas grills, they’ve been around for over 30 years manufacturing grills. They are built to last.
And on the off chance that you do have any issues, Z Grills has a three year warranty behind all their grills.
Questions? They have customer service available 365 days a year.
How do pellet grills work?
Pellet grills do require electricity of some sort, but you can plug it into a car when you’re camping, not just an electrical outlet at home.
Once you have it plugged in and assembled, you easily set the digital temperature by spinning the dial to the right level for your food.
Add the fuel of your choice. Depending on what you make, you may want to use oak, cherry, mesquite, or another pellet. Just place it in the hopper.
The right amount of pellets for the temperature you set get pulled through the bucket and to the ignitor in the firepot. This lights the pellets and creates the ideal temperature.
A circulation fan provides even convection heating across the full cooking surface at a consistent temperature.
As the pellets burn, more pellets automatically get added to the firepot to maintain the temperature. All while you do what you want to do instead of standing over the grill constantly.
And yes, you can maintain temperatures from 160 degrees to 450 degrees, which is the reason so many cooking styles work on a pellet grill. The 600 series also offers direct flame cooking that can bring temperatures up to 750 degrees.
