A delicious combination of chocolate and cherries in your morning (or afternoon) coffee. It's not too sweet but a delightful combination and easy to make.
Place chocolate chips in the bottom of your cup. Brew the espresso directly over the chocolate chips.
10-12 dark chocolate chips, 2 shots espresso or strongly brewed coffee
While the coffee is brewing, add the half and half to your Easy Frother (or a glass) with the sugar and heat for 30 seconds. Add the cocoa powder after heating. Froth with the Easy Frother or your favorite method and return to microwave for 15 seconds to set the foam.
1/4 cup half and half, 2 teaspoons cocoa powder, 1 teaspoon sugar
Once coffee is brewed, stir to distribute the melted chocolate throughout the coffee. Add cherry syrup and stir again.
2 tablespoons cherry syrup
Carefully pour the half and half into the chocolate cherry latte, then top with foam. Serve immediately.
