Need a quick dessert? You'll love this microwave chocolate chip cookie. It's the perfect decadent treat. It's ready in about five minutes, and is perfect with a scoop of ice cream or just dig in with a spoon!
Add butter to ramekin and heat until it starts to melt. Add sugars and stir. Add the egg yolk and vanilla and stir again.
1 tablespoon unsalted butter, 1 tablespoon sugar, 1 tablespoon brown sugar, 1 egg yolk, splash of vanilla
Once well mixed, add salt and cinnamon and stir to incorporate. Add heaping tablespoons of flour. Stir until only a little white remains, then add chocolate chips. Stir again to distribute and then smooth the top.

Cook in microwave for one minute. If the top looks a little wet, cook in for another fifteen seconds. Once finished, add a scoop of ice cream or just dive right in!
You can make this with whole wheat flour of standard all purpose flour. If you use whole wheat flour, add a teaspoon of milk with the egg yolk. Note that the egg yolk will cause the cookie to be a slightly different color, but it tastes just like what you expect.
