Copycat Oreo Shamrock McFlurry

Ingredients

  • 3 cups vanilla ice cream
  • 2 teaspoons half and half
  • 1/4 teaspoon mint extract scant
  • 4-5 drops green food coloring
  • 5 Oreo cookies
  • whipped cream optional

Instructions

  • Let your ice cream soften on your counter for approximately 10 minutes.
  • While your ice cream softens, crush your Oreos in a heavy plastic bag.

  • Add ice cream, half and half, mint extract, and food coloring to your blender. Pulse until it is a uniform color and texture.
    3 cups vanilla ice cream, 2 teaspoons half and half, 1/4 teaspoon mint extract, 4-5 drops green food coloring
  • Add crushed Oreos, reserving a couple teaspoons for topping, then stir by hand to distribute.
  • Place into two glasses. Top with whipped cream if you choose and the reserved Oreos. Serve immediately.
